AviraTwin™ — from the Sanskrit अविरत (avirat), meaning "ceaseless watchfulness" — is the safety monitoring module of the Wistwin® digital twin platform. It deploys wireless gas detectors across hazardous zones in your plant (CO, methane, H₂S, ammonia, chlorine, VOC) and runs continuous trend analysis to catch leaks before they cross alarm thresholds. Indian steel, chemical, pharma, and FMCG plants use AviraTwin to replace quarterly handheld gas-leak surveys with always-on monitoring. The flagship deployment is across top Indian steel-plant CO gas networks.

CO (carbon monoxide), CH₄ (methane), C₃H₈ (LPG), H₂S (hydrogen sulfide), NH₃ (ammonia), Cl₂ (chlorine), SO₂, NOₓ, O₂ (oxygen deficiency), and broad-spectrum VOC via PID sensors. Custom gas sensors can be integrated where standard sensors exist. Most plants deploy 4–8 gas types per zone depending on process chemistry.

Traditional fixed gas detection systems are alarm-only — they signal when a threshold is crossed. They're still important. AviraTwin adds two layers on top: (1) trend analysis that catches sub-threshold leaks hours before alarm-level concentrations, and (2) digital twin integration so every event is contextualized against AssetTwin location data and feeds CAPA workflow into TrusTwin. Most customers run their existing fixed gas systems in parallel and use AviraTwin for the early-warning + audit layer.

All sensors deployed in hazardous areas (Zone 0, Zone 1, Zone 2 per IS/IEC 60079) carry intrinsically safe or explosion-proof certification. PESO-approved gas detector models supported. Installation work is done by certified hazardous-area technicians.

In the steel plant flagship deployment, AviraTwin monitors 2,800+ asset locations across three integrated CO gas networks. Wireless detectors mesh-network back to plant-floor concentrators, then to the AviraTwin cloud. Trend analysis predicts where a leak is developing before any single detector exceeds the alarm threshold. In year one across the three plants, 11 incidents were prevented. This is now our reference architecture for steel, refinery, and large chemical deployments.

Yes. CPCB-mandated CEMS (Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems) for SO₂, NOₓ, particulate matter, opacity, and stack flow rate are integrated. Direct connection to CPCB online reporting protocol for compliance plants. ARAI emissions data also integrated where applicable.

No. AviraTwin is additive to your existing fire alarm, gas detection, and safety systems. We don't replace fire detection. We add the digital twin context, trend analysis, and audit evidence on top of what's already in your plant.
